Shipping policy


  • All Flares, Smokes and Ammunition orders are shipped UPS ground.
  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.  
  • We ship most items to all 50 states.
  • An adult signature will be required for orders over $250. 
  • Ammunition and other explosive type items are not shipped outside of the United States due to regulations that prohibit us from doing so.
  • Shipping for ammunition goes as follows:
    • We offer shipping to all lower 48 U.S. States except for the District of Colombia, California and Massachusetts. 
    • Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey and New York residents will need to provide the authorized documents to purchase ammo. Please contact HickoryFlatBoars@yahoo.com to provide this information to have your product shipped. Information to be provided is listed below:
  • CT Residents must meet the following requirements:
    • permit to carry a pistol or revolver issued under CT law
    • permit to sell at retail a pistol or revolver issued under CT law
    • eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver issued under CT law
    • long gun eligibility certificate issued under CT law
    • or ammunition certificate issued under CT law.
    • The ammo purchase must be made by someone at least 21 years old.
    • The buyer must provide at least one of the following, which is valid and non-expired:
    • The buyer must provide a valid, non-expired driver's license, passport, or other government-issued photo ID. Please note, military IDs are not permissible because it is illegal to copy them.

 

  • IL Residents must meet the following requirements:
    • The buyer must provide a photo of their valid state FOID card.
    • The buyer must provide a photo of their driver's license or valid (non-expired) state identification card.

 

  • NJ Residents must meet the following requirements when purchasing handgun ammunition:
    • A valid copy of their firearms purchaser identification card
    • A valid copy of their permit to purchase a handgun
    • A valid copy of their permit to carry a handgun.
    • The buyer must provide a valid copy of their driver's license
    • The buyer must provide at least one of the following, which is valid and non-expired:

 

  • NY Residents must meet the following requirements:

          All orders being shipped to NY must be shipped to an FFL.   

     

    •  RI Residents must meet the following requirements:

               In order to purchase ammunition, Rhode Island requires you to have a valid pistol/revolver safety certificate ("Blue Card"), hunter education course card, or permit to carry a pistol or revolver.

      • Massachusetts is very strict compared to other states when it comes to buying ammo: 

                In MA, you need to have a license to buy or possess ammunition. To buy ammo in            the state, you must be at least 18 for long gun and at least 21 years old to                        buy handgun rounds. Ammo purchases must be conducted face-to-face.                          Additionally, all federal laws apply in the Commonwealth.

       

      If a resident of RI, CT, IL, NY or NJ does not provide the above information within 3 business days then the sale of the ammo will be voided, and the buyer will be refunded the money paid less a 20% restocking fee. (You will receive an email from Hickory Flat Boars LLC (HickoryFlatBoars@yahoo.com) reminding you of the required documents before any sale is to be made void)

      If you do not RESPOND to the notification email sent within 3 business days or if you REFUSE to send the required documents from your state then the sale of the ammo will be voided, and the buyer will be refunded the money paid less a 20% restocking fee!

      *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*
      Hickory Flat Boars LLC has listed some of the restricted areas above. This is, however, not all of the restricted areas in the US. It is your responsibility to know the law where you reside before completing a purchase. If you complete a purchase and it is found that we cannot legally ship your item to you at the address you provided, we will email you and notify you. You will have an option to pick another location to have the item shipped to if so chosen. If not, then you will be refunded your purchase less a 20% restocking fee. If you do not respond to the notification email sent within 3 business days then the sale of the ammo will be voided, and the buyer will be refunded their money paid less a 20% restocking fee. (You will receive an email from Hickory Flat Boars LLC (HickoryFlatBoars@yahoo.com) reminding you of anything needed to complete the purchase before any sale is to be made void)

      Our goal at Hickory Flat Boars LLC is to make sure our customers are satisfied with us. We will do what we can to reasonably work with you if problems arise.  

      We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses as UPS will not accept a shipment to a P.O. Box. 


      ANY payments pending will not be shipped until it is cleared via our CC processor, which can take up to at least 2 business days - thank you we appreciate your business!
